A well-known infrastructure company has won the bid to construct a new 37.7 km long Four/Six lane Greenfield Ludhiana-Rupnagar National Highway in Punjab, India. The project is worth Rs. 9510 million and is expected to significantly improve transportation, connect major cities, create employment opportunities and contribute to economic development. The company has announced financial close for the project in March 2022.
A new six-lane highway project is being planned in Punjab to construct a greenfield Southern Ludhiana Bypass, covering 25.240 km, on a hybrid annuity mode under Bharatmala Pariyojana.
