    An 88.4 km access-controlled six-lane greenfield highway will connect Agra and Gwalior, along with strengthening of the existing NH-44 stretch from km 1058.00 to km 1148.00. The project will be executed under the DBFOT pattern at BOT (Toll) mode under the National Highways (Original) scheme, spanning three states. The appointed date has been fixed as September 7, 2026, with a stipulated completion period of 910 days from that date.

    A new highway project is proposed across Bihar and Uttar Pradesh to upgrade the newly declared NH-727AA to a 2/4-lane standard. The stretch will run from Bettiah via Patzirwa and Paknaha, extend to Pipraghat, and terminate at Sewrahi Junction on NH-730. The project entails an estimated investment of about ₹39,500 million and is currently under state-level environmental clearance review.

    Rs.2500 Million Development of Vindhya Expressway Project in across Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh

    A new 333 km greenfield State Highway/Expressway (Vindhya Expressway) is proposed to be developed connecting parts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh via Sonbhadra and Singrauli districts. The proposal, categorized as Category A under EIA Notification 2006, has been accepted and referred to SEAC for appraisal, with baseline environmental data collection already completed. Forest clearance, CTE, and Environmental Clearance are yet to be obtained and will be pursued post-ToR.

    A greenfield 4-lane bypass road spanning 27.062 km is proposed to connect NH-31 and NH-922 through the Bairiya-Ara section, including a major bridge crossing the Ganga River between Buxar and Ara. The project is currently under environmental appraisal, with land acquisition (121 Ha, entirely non-forest) underway across villages in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Construction is yet to commence, with baseline environmental data collection and consent clearances still pending.

    A new 4-lane access-controlled Greenfield highway is planned between Litibeda (Odisha) and Ranchi (Jharkhand), spanning 150.3 km. The project, estimated at Rs. 65,750 million, is scheduled for construction from January 2026 to December 2028. As of November 2025, the project has been submitted to the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority for environmental clearance.
