    A new 204.799 km Access Controlled Super Communication Expressway (Package-3) is proposed connecting Nagpur and Chandrapur, running from Seldoh interchange on the Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg to Ghugus interchange near Chandrapur, passing through Nagpur, Wardha, Chandrapur, Yavatmal and Gadchiroli districts. The Rs. 116953.1 Million project is currently at Terms of Reference stage under Category A of the EIA Notification 2006, with the proposal accepted and referred to the State Expert Appraisal Committee, and forest/NBWL clearance applications to follow post grant of ToR.

    A 34.715 km six-lane greenfield state highway/expressway is proposed between Shendra DMIC and Bidkin, passing through 22 villages across Aurangabad and Paithan talukas of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district. The project requires about 221.25 hectares of land (including ~4.42 ha of forest land) and is expected to generate over 11 lakh man-days of temporary employment during construction. The proposal is currently under verification with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Terms of Reference.

The project is currently under environmental examination for Terms of Reference with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with construction yet to commence. Land acquisition covering ~247.56 hectares of non-forest land is underway, with rehabilitation and resettlement activities yet to start.
