    An existing asbestos cement roofing sheet manufacturing facility in Bhojpur district, Bihar is undergoing a capacity expansion from 120,000 MT/yr to 160,000 MT/yr. The State Pollution Control Board has granted Consent to Establish for the expanded capacity, subject to conditions including installation of air pollution control devices, zero liquid discharge measures, and rainwater harvesting. The unit is required to obtain Consent to Operate prior to commissioning of the expanded plant.

    Rs.10500 Million New Cement Blending & Grinding Unit in Raigad, Maharashtra

    Maharashtra From 5000 Million to 49999 Million

    A 6 million tonnes per annum cement blending and grinding facility is proposed near PNP Jetty in Village Shahbaj, Taluka Alibag, Raigad district, Maharashtra, to manufacture OPC, PPC, PSC, GGBS, SSC and composite cement using GGBS sourced from a nearby steel slag plant blended with OPC/fly ash. The proposal is currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Terms of Reference, with land at the site proposed to be taken on lease from a maritime services company. Total project cost is estimated at ₹1,050 crore, with over 1,500 permanent jobs expected during construction and over 400 during operations.

    An integrated cement plant in Dhar District, Madhya Pradesh, is expanding finished cement production capacity from 6.0 Million TPA to 8.5 Million TPA while retaining existing clinker (6.0 Million TPA), CPP (40 MW), and WHRS (31 MW) capacities. Estimated at Rs. 3,500 million, the project was submitted to SEIAA for environmental clearance in July 2026, with construction scheduled from November 2026 to May 2028.
