The proposal is currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Terms of Reference. Land acquisition (21.49 Ha non-forest agricultural land) is partially complete and construction is yet to commence.

Estimated at Rs. 3,500 million, the project was submitted to SEIAA for environmental clearance in July 2026, with construction scheduled from November 2026 to May 2028.
