The proposal is currently under verification with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of fresh Environmental Clearance, with construction yet to commence.

    Rs.10500 Million New Cement Blending & Grinding Unit in Raigad, Maharashtra

    Maharashtra From 5000 Million to 49999 Million

    A 6 million tonnes per annum cement blending and grinding facility is proposed near PNP Jetty in Village Shahbaj, Taluka Alibag, Raigad district, Maharashtra, to manufacture OPC, PPC, PSC, GGBS, SSC and composite cement using GGBS sourced from a nearby steel slag plant blended with OPC/fly ash. The proposal is currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Terms of Reference, with land at the site proposed to be taken on lease from a maritime services company. Total project cost is estimated at ₹1,050 crore, with over 1,500 permanent jobs expected during construction and over 400 during operations.
