The project, estimated at Rs. 308.4 million, aims to boost production capabilities. As of July 2025, the company has secured consent from the state pollution control authorities to proceed with the project.

With a projected cost of Rs. 20,588 million, state pollution control approval was granted in October 2024.

    A company in the steel and power industry is planning to set up a new iron ore desciation plant with components like an Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant, Pelletization Plant, Sponge Iron Plant, Induction Furnaces, Hot Rolling Mill, Coal Gasifier and a 34 MW Captive Power Plant in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.4550 million and environment clearance is underway as of March 2022.

    A steel company is set to install a 29,900 TPA hot charging rolling mill in Tainser, Sundargarh, Odisha, at a cost of ₹165.5 million. It also plans to expand its DRI plant to 9,90,000 TPA with a ₹17,950 million investment. Construction begins in April 2026. Environmental clearance is under review by the Ministry of Environment.
