    A new integrated steel plant with 7.0 MTPA liquid steel capacity is proposed at the Paradeep Facility in Jagatsinghpur District, Odisha, including associated coke oven and captive thermal power facilities. The proposal is currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for Environmental Clearance. Forest land diversion approval has already been obtained and land acquisition is partially complete.

    An existing integrated steel complex is undergoing a capacity enhancement and configuration change covering its iron ore pellet plant, sponge iron kilns, induction furnace (MS ingots/billets) and rolling mill. The expansion is based on a "no increase in pollution load" certificate and will be carried out within the existing plant premises without additional land. The State Pollution Control Board has amended the Consent to Establish to permit the enhanced capacities.

    A new iron ore mining project is proposed at village Belagal, Ballari Taluk, Ballari District, Karnataka, with a lease area of 119.71 Ha and planned production capacity of 0.95 MTPA along with installation of a 0.95 MTPA capacity crusher. The proposal, filed as a Fresh ToR application under the EIA Notification 2006 (Category A), is currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

    A proposed greenfield integrated steel plant with 6.0 million TPA finished steel capacity and a 1420 MW captive power plant is planned across multiple villages in Chamorshi taluka, Gadchiroli district, Maharashtra. The project spans 981 hectares of non-forest land and is currently under environmental review with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (Fresh ToR stage, EDS raised). Once operational, it is expected to generate significant permanent and contractual employment during both construction and operational phases.
