    A steel company is developing an iron ore pellet plant in Hirma, Jharsuguda, Odisha, with a capacity of 2 × 0.6 MTPA and an associated producer gas plant of 2 × 25,800 Nm³/hr. As of August 2025, the project is expanding to include a rolling mill, pellet plant, captive power plant, DRI plant, and billet plant with an investment of ₹9,900 million. An MoU has been signed with the Maharashtra state government.

    A new cold rolling mill with a 0.5 million tonnes capacity is planned in Bokaro, Jharkhand, at an estimated cost of Rs. 8,030 million. Scheduled to begin production in Q3 of 2025-26, the project is being developed under the government’s PLI scheme as of August 2025.

    An integrated melting and rolling facility in Baliana Village, Solan, Himachal Pradesh is being expanded. The project initially targeted 92,500 MT/year, later revised to 235,000 MT/year, with environmental clearance granted. As of August 2025, it focuses on producing TMT bars, angles, and channels (92,500 MT/year) with an updated investment of ₹583.7 million, approved by the State High Level Clearance Committee.

With a production capacity of 6,72,000 TPA and investment of Rs. 3,069.5 million, construction is rescheduled for December 2026–December 2027. As of August 2025, environmental clearance is under review.

Estimated at Rs.1964 million, construction is scheduled from December 2024 to May 2026. As of August 2025, the project is at the Notice to Proceed stage and is being executed through the EPC route.
