Estimated to cost Rs. 6016.8 million, the project is part of the Ludhiana-Ajmer Economic Corridor Phase-I. As of December 2021, NHAI has invited bids for the project, which will improve connectivity, boost economic growth, and create new employment opportunities in the region.
