    The Bihar Cabinet has approved a 336-km six-lane greenfield road corridor linking Buxar with Bhagalpur, passing through eleven districts. Consultants and a transaction adviser are to be appointed for preparing the Detailed Project Report. The corridor is expected to boost agriculture, trade and economic activity along its route.

    A 41.33 km, four-lane at-grade/elevated greenfield expressway is proposed on Hybrid Annuity Mode, connecting Sultanganj, Bhagalpur and Sabour along the Ganga river corridor in Bihar. The project is currently under appraisal, having been referred to the State Expert Appraisal Committee (SEAC), with land acquisition (270.66 Ha, entirely non-forest) in progress. Construction has not yet commenced.

The project, proposed on Hybrid Annuity Mode, is currently under environmental appraisal with the proposal referred to the Expert Appraisal Committee. Land acquisition (largely non-forest, privately owned) is underway ahead of construction.

    A major four-lane highway widening and bypass construction asset is nearing completion across the Vaishali and Muzaffarpur regions of Bihar. Budgeted at Rs. 34,872.7 million, the development modernizes a vital 51-kilometer corridor of NH-77 connecting to the East-West Corridor. Initiated in August 2010, the project is under its final implementation phase toward a July 2026 completion.
