A massive 106.078 km access-controlled greenfield freight corridor is planned in Maharashtra to link a strategic under-construction port to a major state expressway. Running from NH-48 at Tawa to Bharvir, the project is budgeted at Rs. 249,386 million. Construction spans from May 2027 to November 2029, and the proposal currently awaits mandatory environmental clearance from the SEIAA as of July 2026.
