    Andhra Pradesh From 100 Million to 999 Million

    research and development facility for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and drug intermediates is being established at the AMTZ Campus in Visakhapatnam district. The State Pollution Control Board has granted Consent to Establish for the unit, which is restricted to R&D activity with no commercial production permitted at this stage. The facility is spread over 3.0 acres and includes effluent treatment, scrubber and solvent-handling infrastructure.

The project is currently at the environmental clearance/consent stage following approval by SEIAA, Andhra Pradesh.

The facility, being set up with a capital investment of Rs. 629.6 Million, falls under the Blue category classification for sewage treatment plants of 5 MLD capacity and above. The plant will incorporate comprehensive effluent treatment systems to meet prescribed discharge standards before disposal.
