    A regional sanitary landfill and Common Municipal Solid Waste Management Facility (CMSWMF) with a rated capacity of 6570 TPA is proposed at Sendhwa to serve Sendhwa town and its 8 cluster ULBs (Barwani, Anjad, Rajpur, Khetia, Pansemal, Niwali burjurg, Palsud and Thikari). The project is currently at ToR application stage with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with land acquisition already completed and consent to establish to be obtained post EC. Construction is expected to generate about 900 man-days of employment, with 7 permanent staff planned during operations.

    A greenfield Common Municipal Solid Waste Management Facility (CMSWMF) with a sanitary landfill of about 9800 TPA capacity is proposed at Rawad village near Betma, Indore, under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0. The project spans about 1.81 hectares of government-owned non-forest land and is currently under environmental review with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with a clarification (EDS) raised on the application. No construction has commenced yet.

    A regional common sanitary landfill facility is proposed to serve Mandla and its cluster urban local bodies, spread over 2.65 hectares at Survey No. 385(S)/386(S), Mali Mohgaon. The facility is designed for a sanitary landfill capacity of 86,445 tonnes across three cells through the 2023-2037 design period, with inert solid waste handling capacity of 15.10 TPD by 2037. The proposal has received Standard ToR and is awaiting environmental clearance before construction begins.

    A new integrated municipal solid waste management complex is proposed comprising a 120 TPD Material Recovery Facility-cum-RDF plant and a Compressed Bio-Gas plant processing 150 TPD of biodegradable waste, along with a regional sanitary landfill designed for 82,024 cubic metres of inert waste and process rejects. The facility will serve a cluster approach covering Ratlam, Jaora, Namli, Piploda, Dhamnod and Sailana Urban Local Bodies.
