    An existing ethanol distillery is being scaled up from 200 KLPD to 700 KLPD of ENA/Rectified Spirit/Ethanol, adding capability for ethanol-based chemicals and Sustainable Aviation Fuel using a multifeed stock of cane syrup, molasses, and grain. The co-generation power plant is being expanded from 3 MW to 13 MW, alongside CO2 and DDGS by-product capacity increases. The Rs 695 crore project in Badami taluk, Bagalkot district, is currently under environmental examination with a fresh Terms of Reference application filed.

    An existing integrated sugar-distillery complex at Mhaisgaon, Solapur is expanding its molasses-based distillery capacity from 30 KLPD to 100 KLPD, alongside associated increases in ethanol/ENA, CO2 recovery and fusel oil output. The expansion is being planned entirely within existing land already owned by the company, with the proposal currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for Environmental Clearance. No timeline for construction start has been disclosed yet.

    Rs.4450 Million Grain-Based Distillery Expansion Project in Tarn Taran, Punjab

    Punjab From 1000 Million to 4999 Million

    A grain and molasses-based ethanol distillery in Village Louhka, Punjab is being expanded from 225 KLPD to 925 KLPD along with its co-generation power plant capacity rising from 4.4 MW to 16.4 MW. The expansion, to be developed at an estimated cost of ₹445 crore, is currently under review by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Terms of Reference. The project will also enhance by-product output including carbon dioxide and dried distillers grains soluble (DDGS) used as cattle feed.

    Rs.1980 Million Grain-Based Ethanol Production Expansion Project in Bundi district, Rajasthan

    A grain-based ethanol distillery in Rajasthan is expanding its production capacity from 120 KLPD to 180 KLPD alongside its existing 3.30 MW co-generation power plant. The expansion, valued at around ₹198 crore in total project cost, is currently under environmental appraisal with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. The unit will continue to operate on a Zero Liquid Discharge basis, supporting the government's Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme.

    Rs.4531 Million New Sugar Plant in Devarahipparagi, Vijayapura, Karnataka

    An integrated agro-processing complex is proposed comprising an 8,000 TCD sugar crushing unit, a 25 MW biomass-based cogeneration power plant, and a 200 KLPD distillery producing rectified spirit/ENA and ethanol from B-heavy molasses, syrup and grain. The project is currently under review by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Terms of Reference, with no construction activity commenced yet. Once cleared, the facility is expected to generate significant direct and indirect employment during both construction and operational phases.
