The project is co-located with an existing 2.0 MW co-generation plant. Currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Environmental Clearance.

    Uttar Pradesh From 1000 Million to 4999 Million

    Expansion of an existing 450 KLPD cane juice/sugar syrup/grain based distillery to a 650 KLPD distillery, with cogeneration power capacity raised from 6.0 MW to 8.65 MW through addition of a 200 KLPD grain-based ethanol plant and a 2.65 MW biomass-based cogeneration unit. Located at Village Shamli Shamla and Gagore, Tehsil Unn, District Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, on about 10.14 hectares of land. The Terms of Reference proposal is currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with no confirmed construction start date yet.

    An alcobev enterprise is expanding its distillery complex in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. The Rs. 3,732.6 million project scales its molasses-based plant from 40 to 60 KLD with 2.5 MW co-gen power, while adding a new 200 KLD grain-based distillery with a 7.0 MW captive power setup. Awaiting environmental clearance as of July 2026, construction runs from December 2026 to December 2027.

    A new 91 KLPD Second Generation (2G) Ethanol Biorefinery project is planned at Wave Sugar complex in Dhanaura, Uttar Pradesh. Estimated at Rs. 1,500 million, the eco-friendly plant converts biomass waste into fuel using high-end thermal integration. In June 2026, the clean-tech development secured financial support approval via the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas' PM JI-VAN Yojana.
