    Expansion of an existing C-heavy molasses-based distillery from 90 KLPD to 120 KLPD, adding grains (broken rice) as raw material to produce Rectified Spirit/Extra Neutral Alcohol/Absolute Alcohol. The project is co-located with an existing 2.0 MW co-generation plant. Currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Environmental Clearance.

    Rs.9750 Million Grain Based Ethanol Plant Expansion Project in Darrang, Assam

    Assam From 5000 Million to 49999 Million

    Expansion of a grain-based ethanol distillery from 600 KLD to 1200 KLD (1000 KLD ethanol and 200 KLD ENA/RS), along with a co-generation power plant expansion from 15 MW to 28 MW, at the AIDCL Sipajhar Industrial Plot in Darrang district, Assam. Standard ToR has been granted by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for the expansion, while the existing 600 KLD unit is already operational under a valid Environmental Clearance and Consent to Operate. Physical expansion work is yet to commence at site.

    Rs.4036 Million Expansion of Grain Ethanol Distillery in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh

    Madhya Pradesh From 1000 Million to 4999 Million

    A grain-based ethanol distillery in Khandwa district, Madhya Pradesh is being expanded fivefold from 100 KLPD to 500 KLPD, with associated captive electricity generation capacity rising from 3 MW to 12 MW. The proposal has received Standard ToR from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with the existing unit already holding a valid Environmental Clearance and operating consents.

    A new single malt whisky distillery with an annual capacity of around 3 million bulk litres is being set up along with a maturation warehouse in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The investment marks entry into the provenance-led Single Malt Whisky segment as part of a broader premiumisation strategy. The project is expected to be completed by Q3 FY28.

    Rs.762 Million New Grain Based Distillery Plant in Bemetara, Chhattisgarh

    Chhattisgarh From 100 Million to 999 Million

    A new Multi-Sugar/Damaged Grain-based ethanol (MSDH) plant is proposed within an existing plant premise in Bemetara district, Chhattisgarh. The unit will use rectified spirit (RS) procured from external sources at 96-97% purity to produce RS-based ethanol at a capacity of 110 KLPD. Environmental Clearance has been granted and the project is now proceeding under prescribed environmental safeguards ahead of Consent to Operate.
