Four Companies Sign ₹2,550 Crore MoUs for Defence Manufacturing Investments in Gujarat
Four companies signed Memoranda of Understanding worth a combined ₹2,550 crore for investments in Gujarat's defence sector during a seminar on 'Atmanirbhar Bharat in Aerospace and Defence' held as part of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) at GSFC University, Vadodara, on June 30, 2026.
Dinesh Chandra Defence Systems Pvt. Ltd. signed an MoU worth ₹800 crore. Shreeram Aerospace and Defence LLP signed for ₹150 crore, Shree Khodiyar Heavy Engineering Pvt. Ltd. for ₹100 crore, and SRK Tectronics LLP for ₹1,500 crore.
The combined investment will be spread across Kheda, Rajkot, Vadodara and Ahmedabad districts. The companies are engaged in manufacturing defence systems and equipment, aerospace tooling and engines, and UAV systems and application hardware.
The investments are expected to generate more than 4,000 employment opportunities across the four districts. No project timelines or facility capacities were disclosed at the event.
