SECI Issues NIT for 45.6 MW Package-2 Wind Power Project in Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh
Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has issued a Notice Inviting Tender for a greenfield wind power project designated as Package-2: Wind, to be developed at Ramagiri in the Sri Sathya Sai District of Andhra Pradesh. The tender, numbered SECI/C&P/OP/11/0003/26-27, went live on July 3, 2026.
The project covers a cumulative capacity of 45.6 MW (+5%) on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis, with the selected contractor responsible for design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning.
Wind turbine generators deployed must have a minimum unit capacity rating of 3 MW and operate on a 50 Hz, low-voltage system, with all equipment required to be listed under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy's Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM-Wind). Grid interconnection will be at the 33kV pooling switchgear incomer feeder, with SECI having already completed micro-siting across 16 identified land parcels.
The contract will be awarded through a Single Stage Double Envelope bidding process followed by an e-Reverse Auction. The selected contractor must achieve operational acceptance within 14 months of contract award and will also undertake a 10-year Operation and Maintenance mandate following commissioning.
