    Expansion of an existing Cold Rolled Grain Oriented (CRGO) electrical steel manufacturing facility at Wadivarhe, Igatpuri, Nashik, raising production capacity from 3,05,000 MT/A to 4,00,000 MT/A. The proposal is currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Terms of Reference. Total project cost is estimated at ₹5,373.73 crore, including the existing investment of ₹696.73 crore and proposed expansion outlay of ₹4,677 crore.

    Odisha From 1000 Million to 4999 Million

    A new manufacturing unit for galvanised coated wires and zinc-aluminium coated wires is being set up in Sundargarh district, Odisha. Budgeted at Rs. 1,050 million, the industrial plant will cater to regional engineering and infrastructure demand. The greenfield project received official investment approval from the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority in July 2026, enabling upcoming site development.

    Rs.203 Million Steel MFg. Unit Expansion Project in Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab

    Punjab From 100 Million to 999 Million

    A secondary steel manufacturing unit expansion project is planned in Village Kumbh, Mandi Gobindgarh, Fatehgarh Sahib District, Punjab. Budgeted at Rs. 203.6 million, the expansion aims for an enhanced production capacity of 105,000 MTPA. Environmental clearance was applied for in July 2026. On-site construction activities are scheduled to run from November 2026 to August 2028.

    Telangana From 5000 Million to 49999 Million

    A 50-acre integrated nickel-based superalloy manufacturing facility with an annual capacity of 5,000 tonnes is being established in Telangana. Representing an investment of ₹6,000 million, the plant will produce high-performance alloys for aerospace and defense applications. Officially announced in July 2026, commercial production is scheduled to commence in January 2028.

    A ₹100 million steel plant expansion is planned in Ranga Reddy district, Telangana, targeting a manufacturing capacity of 118,000 TPA of MS Ingots/Billets and 118,000 TPA of TMT Bars. Submitted to SEIAA for environmental clearance in July 2026, on-site construction work is scheduled to run from October 2026 through February 2027.
