    Rajasthan From 5000 Million to 49999 Million

    The Company board has approved a Rs.700 crore greenfield plant at Salarpur, Rajasthan, to produce 50,000 km per year of cables and 40,000 TPA of galvanized iron wire. The plant, funded through internal accruals, is expected to become operational in phases by September 2028. Capex for the project will continue through FY27 and FY28.

    A greenfield metallurgical complex comprising a 3,00,000 TPA Special Steel Melting Shop & Rolling Mills, a 3,860 TPA Super Alloys Plant, a 500 TPA Titanium Alloys Powder Unit, and a 30,000 TPA Stainless Seamless Tube Manufacturing Plant is proposed at Villages Pali-II and Bhalelao, Tehsil Pali, Rajasthan. The project is currently under environmental appraisal with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with an EDS query raised on the fresh ToR application. Land acquisition (45.97 Ha, entirely non-forest, privately owned) has already been completed, though physical construction has not yet commenced.

    A monumental Rs. 76,740 million metallurgical complex expansion is planned in Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The project scales zinc smelting to 300,000 TPA, lead smelting to 375,000 TPA, and upgrades the captive power plant from 170 MW to 198 MW. Construction will run from March 2027 to March 2029. The expansion proposal currently awaits statutory environmental clearance from the regional SEIAA.

The project is estimated at Rs. 350 million, with construction scheduled from February 2025 to February 2026. As of January 2026, the project has been submitted to the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority for environmental clearance.
