    A railway line expansion between Bhusaval and Khandwa is planned, covering 47 km in Jalgaon, 50.55 km in Burhanpur, and 34.45 km in Khandwa. Estimated at Rs. 32,487.8 million, construction is scheduled to begin in December 2025. As of August 2025, the project is at the DPR/feasibility stage and will be executed via the EPC route.

    A new 84 km broad gauge third line is planned between Manikpur and Iradatganj, connecting Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, with Prayagraj and Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh. The project, estimated at Rs.15,077.4 million, is scheduled for construction from April 2026 to November 2029. As of August 2025, it is in the DPR and feasibility study stage, being developed through the EPC route.

    A railway line doubling project spanning 29.53 km between Katihar–Kumedpur and Katihar–Mukuria in Bihar and West Bengal is underway. Valued at Rs. 9,426.4 million, construction began in August 2022 and is set to finish by August 2026. As of August 2025, it is in the Notice to Proceed stage, progressing via the EPC route.

The project, costing Rs. 163,205.3 million, is set to start construction in September 2024 and complete by September 2031. Currently, it’s in the DPR and feasibility study phase, developed via the EPC route.

    A new 173.6 km Broad Gauge railway line is planned, connecting Malkangiri in Odisha to Pandurangapuram in Telangana via Bhadrachalam. Passing through Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, the project aims to improve connectivity in remote areas. Estimated at Rs. 35,917.6 million, construction is set to begin in January 2027 and conclude by November 2031.
