    A new natural gas pipeline project in Karnataka plans to lay a 24-inch pipeline with OFC cable, connecting locations across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The project, costing ₹6,314.1 million, is scheduled for construction from November 2026 to November 2027. As of January 2026, environmental clearance has been submitted to the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority.

Approval has been granted by state pollution control authorities for the project, as of August 2023.
