The project involves about 4.17 hectares of non-forest leased land and is expected to generate around 90 jobs during construction and 570 permanent jobs during operations. The proposal, categorized as B2 under the EIA Notification, is currently under verification with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for fresh Environmental Clearance.

    Rs.22410 Million Underwater Water Tunnel Project in Maharashtra

    State government has approved a 7.20 km underwater tunnel connecting the upcoming Manori desalination plant to the city's water distribution network via Charkop and Mahavir Nagar, Kandivali. The tunnel supports the 200 MLD Manori desalination plant, designed for future expansion to 400 MLD. Construction is set to begin in August 2026 and will take 45 months to complete.

    A 6 million tonnes per annum cement blending and grinding facility is proposed near PNP Jetty in Village Shahbaj, Taluka Alibag, Raigad district, Maharashtra, to manufacture OPC, PPC, PSC, GGBS, SSC and composite cement using GGBS sourced from a nearby steel slag plant blended with OPC/fly ash. The proposal is currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Terms of Reference, with land at the site proposed to be taken on lease from a maritime services company. Total project cost is estimated at ₹1,050 crore, with over 1,500 permanent jobs expected during construction and over 400 during operations.
