A new industrial shed spanning about 25,539 sq. metres of built-up area is proposed at Aurangabad Industrial City (AURIC), Bidkin, in Paithan tehsil of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, Maharashtra, for manufacturing automotive components. The project involves about 4.17 hectares of non-forest leased land and is expected to generate around 90 jobs during construction and 570 permanent jobs during operations. The proposal, categorized as B2 under the EIA Notification, is currently under verification with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for fresh Environmental Clearance.
