    Central government is planning to take up four-laning of Rewa to Sidhi section in Madhya Pradesh. The project involves the construction of a road tunnel, a viaduct and a bypass in Churhat, a town located in Sidhi district, along the section of NH 75E from chainage 33.2 km to 55.4 km.

    New 4 laning of NH12 from km 66.00 to Km 130. The total length of the project is 64 Km. The project includes upgradation of the highway from 2 lane to 4 lane with rigid pavement (cement concrete road), along with construction of 4 major bridges, 20 minor bridges, 9 underpasses at the location of minor junction and 29 minor junctions. The project would be implemented on EPC mode with construction period of 24 months.

    A Mumbai development authority is constructing a 22 km long, 6 lane bridge called the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link. The project costs Rs.142.6 billion and includes a creek bridge and viaducts. Japan International Cooperation Agency will provide 80% of the project's cost. Construction began in April 2018 and is set to be completed by 2022.

    NHAI is planning to 4-lane a section of NH-7 from Madhya Pradesh to Maharashtra border, including construction of bypasses and bridges, on DBFOT basis. The project length is 117.078 km, estimated cost is Rs.7308 million, and contractor is Oriental Structural Engineers Pvt Ltd. MoRTH has laid foundation for the project.
