    A 49.655-km four-lane, access-controlled greenfield corridor is proposed to connect Chitrakoot with Prayagraj via Rajapur at an estimated cost of Rs. 38209.6 Million. The corridor will bypass congested areas, reduce travel time and vehicle operating costs, and improve connectivity to Chitrakoot Dham while boosting agriculture, trade and tourism. Ministry-level alignment decisions have been taken and inter-departmental coordination for implementation is underway.

    A 2.5 km double-decker elevated road corridor, the first such project in Uttar Pradesh, has been cleared for the stretch between the Delhi-Meerut Expressway and Ek Murti Chowk. The first phase, costing Rs. 7560.1 Million, will be executed based on a detailed project report prepared by NHAI. The project aims to ease chronic traffic congestion linking Greater Noida West with the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, with a second phase planned for the remaining stretch.

    A ₹157.55 crore EPC contract has been awarded for building a 2-lane unidirectional flyover at NFCL Junction and a 2-lane unidirectional underpass along with a 3-lane unidirectional flyover at TV9 Junction in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The project has been awarded via a Letter of Acceptance and is to be executed on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction basis. Construction is slated to be completed within a period of 24 months from commencement.

    Six-Lane Greenfield Corridor Project in Bihar

    The Bihar Cabinet has approved a 336-km six-lane greenfield road corridor linking Buxar with Bhagalpur, passing through eleven districts. Consultants and a transaction adviser are to be appointed for preparing the Detailed Project Report. The corridor is expected to boost agriculture, trade and economic activity along its route.
