Rs.4450 Million Grain-Based Distillery Expansion Project in Tarn Taran, Punjab
A grain and molasses-based ethanol distillery in Village Louhka, Punjab is being expanded from 225 KLPD to 925 KLPD along with its co-generation power plant capacity rising from 4.4 MW to 16.4 MW. The expansion, to be developed at an estimated cost of ₹445 crore, is currently under review by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Terms of Reference. The project will also enhance by-product output including carbon dioxide and dried distillers grains soluble (DDGS) used as cattle feed.
