Project summary
A new 200 KLPD grain-based ethanol plant with a 6 MW co-generation power plant will be established in Hamira, Kapurthala, Punjab. The project is estimated to cost Rs. 2197.7 million and is expected to be operational in June 2024. The company plans to fund the investment through bank loans and internal accruals and has already obtained environmental clearance and a license from the Ministry of Forest and Environment for the 25-acre plant. As of May 2023, the company announced that it has received environmental clearance.
