Rs.600 Million New Grain based Ethanol Plant in Nashik, Maharashtra
A grain-based ethanol plant with a co-generation power plant is to be established in Roze village, Nashik district, Maharashtra, at an estimated cost of Rs.600 million. The plant will have a production capacity of 45 KLPD and construction is scheduled to begin in May 2023 and end in May 2025. Environmental clearance for the project is underway. The project is expected to contribute to the biofuels sector and generate employment opportunities.
