    A sugar mill expansion project in Kagwad village, Belagavi District, Karnataka, aims to increase capacity from 4,000 TCD to 10,000 TCD, costing Rs. 2,772.8 million. Additionally, the molasses-based distillery will expand from 120 KLPD to 400 KLPD, with a further cane crushing capacity enhancement. The project is awaiting environmental clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change.
