Vikran Engineering Secures ₹3,517.98 Crore EPC Order for 969 MW Solar Project in Maharashtra
Vikran Engineering has accepted a turnkey EPC work order worth ₹3,517.98 crore from NOPL Solar Projects for the development of a 969 MW AC solar power project across multiple locations in Maharashtra. The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, supply of solar PV modules and inverters, erection, testing and commissioning of the project.
The order follows a restructuring of the project execution framework. Vikran Engineering had earlier received a separate EPC work order worth ₹2,035.26 crore from Onix Renewable in December 2025 for execution of a 600 MW project. Of that contract, work worth approximately ₹388.67 crore had been tentatively executed, while the balance value of around ₹1,893.26 crore was mutually cancelled.
Following Vikran Engineering's acquisition of 100% equity in NOPL Solar Projects, the EPC execution has been realigned, with the project now being executed directly under a work order issued by NOPL.
