ITC Hotels Signs 101-Key Welcomhotel Karai Gandhinagar to Expand Gujarat Presence
ITC Hotels has signed a management agreement with M/s Shyam Group Hotel and Resort to develop Welcomhotel Karai Gandhinagar in Gujarat. The project is located in the Karai area between Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad.
Spread across an anticipated 9 acres, the property will feature 101 guest rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a coffee lounge. The development will also include over 10,000 sq ft of indoor banquet and event space, along with 46,000 sq ft of landscaped outdoor lawns for weddings, conferences, and social gatherings.
The site is located near Ahmedabad Airport, GIFT City, and other key commercial hubs in the region.
The project adds to ITC Hotels' Welcomhotel portfolio in Gujarat and forms part of the company's broader strategy to expand across high-growth business and hospitality markets in the state, supporting the business, leisure, and MICE segments.
