A major steel plant expansion in Senegarha, Jharkhand, will cost Rs. 817.8 million. It includes increasing DRI plant capacity, adding 3x15 T induction furnaces, a 2-strand continuous casting machine, a 400 TPD rolling mill, and expanding the project area. A new 15 MW power facility will also be established. Construction is scheduled from July 2025 to December 2026, with environmental clearance under review.
