A new WHRB-based power plant with a 22MW capacity and CCM for billets production of 750TPD is being established in Jharsuguda, Odisha, with a project cost of Rs.850 million. The project has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish it in April 2021. The company has decided to enhance the existing WHRB from 16 MW to 19 MW without any changes to the existing DRI Kiln-I and Kiln-II within the existing plant premises in April 2022.
