The facility will include landing and berthing infrastructure, an idle quay, auction hall, net-mending and gear sheds, a market complex, slipway and boat repair facilities, with capacity for nearly 1,960 mechanized fishing vessels. IIT Madras has been appointed as Project Management Consultant, and the project is scheduled for completion within 24 months.

    A greenfield tank farm spread over 51 acres along with a 12.053 km pipeline (24" for HSD and 18" for MS) is being set up from North Oil Jetty of Paradip Port Trust to the POL terminal of Paradip Tanking Private Ltd. The facility will have storage tanks for MS, Ethanol and HSD along with a truck loading gantry. The project has received Consent to Establish from the State Pollution Control Board.
