A new power transmission project is planned across Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, involving the development of infrastructure to integrate the Kurnool-IV Renewable Energy Zone Phase-I (4.5 GW), along with Palnadu and Bidar. With a cost of Rs. 55,500 million, construction will begin in March 2025 and conclude by March 2027. The project is currently in the “Notice to Proceed” stage.
