A company is expanding its iron and alloy production in Jharkhand, increasing sponge iron capacity from 1,20,000 TPA to 1,80,000 TPA and upgrading to submerged arc furnaces for Fe-Si, Fe-Mn, Si-Mn, and Pig Iron (64,000 TPA). A 4 MW captive power plant will be added. With an investment of Rs. 1,803.4 million, completion is expected by June 2026.
