    The Company board has approved a Rs.700 crore greenfield plant at Salarpur, Rajasthan, to produce 50,000 km per year of cables and 40,000 TPA of galvanized iron wire. The plant, funded through internal accruals, is expected to become operational in phases by September 2028. Capex for the project will continue through FY27 and FY28.

    A new structural steel manufacturing facility costing ₹609.8 million is planned for Dhenkanal, Odisha. Securing investment approval from the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority in August 2026, the project will manufacture high-strength structural components, generate about 100 regional jobs, and support the state's expanding industrial and construction supply chains.

    A capital expenditure of approximately Rs 15 crore to expand its narrow-width HR coil manufacturing capacity from 5,000 MT to 10,000 MT per month. The expansion will also widen the maximum coil width from 9 inches to 11 inches, enabling the company to serve a broader range of customer specifications. The announcement is at an early stage, with the expanded facility expected to be commissioned in Q4 FY27.

The ₹525 crore project is currently under review with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with the proposal accepted and referred to the State Expert Appraisal Committee.

    Rs.7000 Million Sponge Iron Mfg. Expansion Project in Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal

    West Bengal From 1000 Million to 4999 Million

    An existing integrated steel complex is being expanded to raise sponge iron capacity from 1,77,000 TPA to 5,27,505 TPA, rolling mill capacity from 450 TPD to 1000 TPD, and pellet plant capacity from 0.6 MTPA to 0.8 MTPA. The expansion also adds a new 100 TPD patra mill, a new 2x9 MVA ferro-alloys plant, and raises captive power generation from 27 MW to 47 MW. The proposal is currently under environmental examination with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with part of the envisaged units already operational.
