    An existing integrated steel complex is being expanded to raise sponge iron capacity from 1,77,000 TPA to 5,27,505 TPA, rolling mill capacity from 450 TPD to 1000 TPD, and pellet plant capacity from 0.6 MTPA to 0.8 MTPA. The expansion also adds a new 100 TPD patra mill, a new 2x9 MVA ferro-alloys plant, and raises captive power generation from 27 MW to 47 MW. The proposal is currently under environmental examination with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with part of the envisaged units already operational.

    A large-scale expansion of an existing integrated steel plant from 1.0 MTPA to 8.0 MTPA capacity, along with enhancement of the associated captive power plant from 200 MW to 1119 MW, at Jamuria in West Bengal. The proposal has been accepted and referred to the Expert Appraisal Committee by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for further environmental appraisal. The project involves addition of new facilities and reconfiguration of existing EC-accorded units, with no fresh site examination required as it is a brownfield expansion.
