Project summary
A new integrated steel plant is planned in Kamalpur Village, Sini, Jharkhand, featuring a DRI plant (462,000 TPA sponge iron), a steel melt shop (198,000 TPA MS billets), and a rolling mill (192,233 TPA TMT bars/structural steel). The project, estimated at Rs.5,150 million, will be constructed from April 2026 to July 2027. Environmental clearance is under review by the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change.
