    A new solar manufacturing facility is planned at Ujjain, Tarana, Sirolia and Shajapur in Madhya Pradesh. The project will establish 3.0 GW + 3.0 GW solar cell capacity and 2.0 GW solar module production capacity. Estimated at Rs. 16,503 million, construction is scheduled from February 2026 to March 2028. As of March 2026, the proposal is awaiting environmental clearance.

    A new integrated solar ingot and wafer manufacturing facility is being established at Butibori in Nagpur district with an annual capacity of 10 GW. The project involves an investment of about Rs 62,000 million and will be developed on around 300 acres of land. The facility will produce high-purity solar ingots and wafers that form the base of photovoltaic manufacturing. The project aims to strengthen domestic solar supply chains, reduce import dependence and generate large-scale employment in the region

    New Floating Solar Power Project in Jharkhand and West Bengal

    A 234 MW floating solar power project is being developed across Panchet and Maithon reservoirs under the Damodar Valley Corporation. The project will be executed under an EPC contract awarded to a consortium of Truere Power and Oriana Power. The solar plants will be installed on floating platforms on reservoir surfaces to generate renewable electricity while optimising water surface use. The project forms part of efforts to expand renewable energy capacity and reduce dependence on conventional power generation.
