    A greenfield port project is underway in Bhavanapadu, Andhra Pradesh, with a capacity of 12.18 million tonnes per annum and an estimated cost of Rs. 36,700 million. The works began in March 2021, and the project will have a total capacity of 106.83 MTPA under two phases. As of April 2023, a joint venture led by Vishwa Samudra Engineering has won the EPC deal for Phase I, which has a capacity of 23.53 MTPA.

    The Department of Fisheries, Government of Andhra Pradesh, is planning to establish a new fishery harbor unit in SPSR Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves setting up a fishery harbor with a capacity of 41,250 TPA, at an estimated cost of Rs. 2885.6 million. The project has received necessary approvals from the state pollution control authorities as of September 2022.
