    A new Coalbed Methane (CBM) exploration project is planned in Manendragarh Chirimiri Bharatpur, Koriya, Chhattisgarh. The project involves drilling 24 exploratory coreholes and test wells in Block SR-ONHP (CBM)-2022/6. With an estimated cost of Rs. 650 million, construction will start in June 2025 and end in July 2029. As of March 2025, the project is under review for environmental clearance.
