Rs.122150 Million New Synthetic Natural Gas Project in Maharashtra
A major public-sector enterprise, in joint partnership with an oil refining PSU, is developing a ₹12,215 crore Synthetic Natural Gas (SNG) project in Chandrapur, Maharashtra. Approved by the central government, the surface coal gasification plant will produce 633.6 million Nm3 of synthetic gas annually, generating 3,000 local jobs while reducing national LNG imports.
