    An existing integrated steel plant at Kalinga Nagar Industrial Complex is undergoing a major brownfield expansion, with blast furnace capacity being raised from 215,000 TPA to 430,000 TPA, a new 659,000 TPA sinter plant and a 340 TPD air separation unit being added, while DRI, rolling mill and SMS plant capacities remain unchanged. The proposal has been granted Standard ToR by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and is at the environmental appraisal stage prior to construction. The project is entirely within the existing plant premises, so no additional land or alternative site was required.

    A major Integrated Secondary Steel Processing Facility is planned at Baprawar. The project initially proposed a ₹674,250 million unit for tin-coated plates (150,000 TPA), colour-coated sheets (315,000 TPA), and captive CR coils (330 MT/day). Revisions in August 2026 set investment at ₹17,950 million to produce 600,000 TPA GI/GL and 200,000 TPA Tin Plate/CRCA. Construction runs from September 2027 to March 2029.

The unit has a production capacity of 3000 Metric Tonnes/Month. The State Pollution Control Board has granted Consent to Establish, with the project currently at the environmental clearance stage.

Originally planned in 2025 for ₹38,520 million, an August 2026 expansion boosted the investment to ₹79,600 million. Key upgrades include increased gasification, DRI, and steel furnace capacities. MoEFCC environmental clearance has been granted, shifting construction to August 2027–August 2029.

    A greenfield metallurgical complex comprising a 3,00,000 TPA Special Steel Melting Shop & Rolling Mills, a 3,860 TPA Super Alloys Plant, a 500 TPA Titanium Alloys Powder Unit, and a 30,000 TPA Stainless Seamless Tube Manufacturing Plant is proposed at Villages Pali-II and Bhalelao, Tehsil Pali, Rajasthan. The project is currently under environmental appraisal with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with an EDS query raised on the fresh ToR application. Land acquisition (45.97 Ha, entirely non-forest, privately owned) has already been completed, though physical construction has not yet commenced.
