    Expand its existing integrated metallurgical complex at Konsari, Gadchiroli, raising Thickening & Filtration Unit capacity from 10 to 10.6 MTPA and Pellet Plant capacity from 2x4 to 2x4.8 MTPA (a 20% increase), alongside existing 92,400 TPA DRI, 5 MW WHRB, 4.5 MTPA ISP and 483 MW (488 MW total) captive power facilities. The proposal is currently under scrutiny with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for Environmental Clearance, with no construction or expansion activity undertaken as yet. Total project cost (existing plus proposed expansion) is pegged at Rs. 244849 Million, with the expansion component itself valued at about Rs. 149 Million.

The facility will utilize induction furnaces and die casting machines for the production process. The State Pollution Control Board has granted Consent to Establish for the project, which is at the environmental clearance stage ahead of construction and commissioning.

    A greenfield 500,000 TPA steel plant is proposed in Chamorshi taluka, Gadchiroli district, Maharashtra, integrating a coal-based DRI unit with EAF-LF-CCM route to produce TMT bars and structural sections. The project also includes a 105 MW captive power plant and a 0.6 MTPA coal washery. The proposal is currently under environmental appraisal with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with land acquisition in progress.

    Rs.500000 Million Integrated Steel Project in Chandrapur, Maharashtra

    A 9 MTPA greenfield integrated steel complex is proposed for Chandrapur in Maharashtra's Vidarbha region, covering pelletisation, coke making, blast furnace, DRI and steelmaking operations. The project is estimated at Rs. 500000 Million and is expected to generate around 30,000 jobs. It is proposed to be initiated in FY27, subject to regulatory approvals and clearances.

    A proposed greenfield integrated steel plant with 6.0 million TPA finished steel capacity and a 1420 MW captive power plant is planned across multiple villages in Chamorshi taluka, Gadchiroli district, Maharashtra. The project spans 981 hectares of non-forest land and is currently under environmental review with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (Fresh ToR stage, EDS raised). Once operational, it is expected to generate significant permanent and contractual employment during both construction and operational phases.
