    A 117.7-km access-controlled greenfield highway connecting Kanpur and Kabrai has been approved at an estimated cost of Rs 7,145 crore. The corridor forms part of the Bhopal–Kanpur Economic Corridor and is expected to cut travel time between the two towns from about 3.5 hours to 1.5 hours. It aims to boost industrial connectivity, freight movement and market access for the Bundelkhand region.

The project has been granted Standard ToR by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and is at an early planning/design stage with land partially acquired. The park's master plan envisages plotted development for MSMEs and large industries along with logistics, residential and environmental zones, with internal roads and supporting infrastructure planned to enable industrial operations.
