Project summary
A 117.7-km access-controlled greenfield highway connecting Kanpur and Kabrai has been approved at an estimated cost of Rs 7,145 crore. The corridor forms part of the Bhopal–Kanpur Economic Corridor and is expected to cut travel time between the two towns from about 3.5 hours to 1.5 hours. It aims to boost industrial connectivity, freight movement and market access for the Bundelkhand region.
