    A large block fabrication facility is planned on 18.16 acres of leased land near Kochi to pre-outfit, paint, and finish steel ship blocks before assembly at a new dry dock. The investment of around ₹5,000 crore is expected to generate around 2,000 direct jobs and further indirect employment. The project has been cleared by the state government following discussions with the shipyard, with construction expected to boost the shipbuilding sector.

    A second automated multi-level car parking (MLCP) facility with capacity for 100 cars is set to come up near Edapally Metro station, sharing space with an upcoming hotel development. Construction is scheduled to begin next month, with the facility expected to replicate the robotic parking system used at the operator's first automated MLCP at Vadakkekotta Metro station. The facility will remain open from 30 minutes before the first train until an hour after the last, with parking rates kept on par with existing metro station lots.
